As I Await.

Today is December 30, 2009. I have no idea why, but I have a feeling that today is going to be the best day of my life. Just… Everything just seems so freaking perfect now.

Ok, not everything. Plenty of holiday homework left, and I really ought to read the holiday homework sheet more throughly, cause I completed most of my E Maths TYS only to find out only need to do 2005 – 2008 questions. Argh!

It’s 1:02am, and I’m awaiting my God Of War III demo to complete downloading. It told myself that I’ll sleep peacefully only once I complete it, cause that’s probably the only way I would want to start a wonderful day.

Tomorrow is New Year’s Eve. For many reasons, 2009 has been an awesome year. New Year’s Resolutions will be made tomorrow, and I for one assure that I’ll break whatever I make. Yes, even the what-now-is-standard “Don’t make any resolutions” crap cause let’s face it, we all make resolutions, regardless of what we call it to ourselves.

Thinking about it, a 2009 retrospective would make for a good post. Will probably make one either tomorrow or New Year’s Day itself. A 2010 one will also be done, but expect a ton of “It’s Lost’s final season!!” stuff on there.

Paramore is coming to Singapore!! If Syahid wants to go, I’ll probably go. It’s more fun to soak in the atmosphere with a Hayley Williams fanboy like Syahid is.

Subject line randomness is seriously one of the few reasons why I love blogging.

To start off, I got a iPhone 3GS for Christmas. Yeah, rather anti-climatic compared to the Twitter/Facebook posts, but still, I got one. And unlike those two, I’m not going to act all thrilled or anything. Don’t get me wrong, it’s freaking awesome, but I’m not going to act like a miracle happened. Still, thanks Mum!

Changed both my Facebook & Twitter profile pics. Thought it would was time for a change. Probably will remain the same for a while.

So, Christmas went by so quickly. Woke up to both Hongzhang and Serkai sleeping, so that is a plus, or a minus depending on which way you bend it (That’s What She Said). Went to Vivo for some Christmas celebrations with some friends, which was totally awesome =).

Though Steph had to leave early, the several of us left walked for what seemed like miles to find the Swensen’s, which turned out to be the expensive as hell-type, so we set off to ION Orchard, which was surprisingly empty (Like really empty). Note to self – Don’t eat an ice cream buffet when you’re close to being full. Not that worth your money despite how much you love Sticky Chewy Chocolate ice cream.

My room’s light bulb blew, so the past two nights have been pure darkness. Sad, but true. I can have an iPhone 3GS but no light.

Actually typed out a post yesterday, but due to my inexperience with the WordPress App on the iPhone, didnt save it =(.

A Maths TYS is probably the hardest thing I did all holiday (That’s What She Said… Damn, this thing is getting infectious).

The Office. S2 > S3 > S5 > S1 > S4. Just saying.

FIFA 10, another of my Christmas presents, is hard as nails. But once you score, it’s cruise control. The A.I. just defends like a horse after they score, so it can get kinda frustrating to penetrate (That’s What She Said… Dammit!).

Wrote whatever is above on my Mac. Now going to complete this post on the 3GS as I watch Singapore Idol. Not too bad thus far. The judges comments are completely shit though.

And by the way, if this post fails, I’m just going to publish whatever I’ve written.

Wrote this yesterday, but since it didn’t get posted, will repeat myself. I’m going to get rid of the outro thing that I’ve been doing for God knows how long. It always felt stupid to end with two inside jokes.

That said, Beyond! will still be there. It’s probably the only way I’ve known how to sign out since the beginning of my blogs.

First day of school could either be epic or very not epic. Yeah, the same can be said for almost everything else.

Singapore Idol looks absolutely stunning in HD. Really makes one wonder why Singapore isn’t using a HD base. Put it into perespective, Two and a Half Men, which was released in 2003, was already done in HD. Singapore is really playing catch-up.

To be honest, the producing of Singapore Idol is sloppy at best. As much as I hate American Idol and their way-overrated recent acts, they manage to make 3 hours of awesome in their finales. Singapore is struggling with just one.

Only reason why I loved Spider-Man 3 was because Topher Grace was in it. I’m probably the only one who watched it, but That 70s Shows rules!

Battery is on 69%.

Tomorrow is a brand new day. After two and a half years. The day I thought I’ll never go through… If you know that line, you would know where I’m going with this. Beyond!

It’s 2:12am.

I’m tired as hell now, and am going to sleep soon for I have work tomorrow. However, I would first like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas Eve!

Wow.

Today was weird. Really weird. Like “Seriously, if you thought what I’ve said in the past was weird, this is even more weird” weird.

Yeah, that was a line from my now-dead script idea. I’m just random like that.

Got a new iPhone 3G, which is always awesome. Silent knob fell off and got one just like that. Apple’s 1-for-1 exchange policy just rules, though I wonder why they check the “Did the iPhone drop into water” meter when the thing is still functioning and my issue is with a knob. Hmm.

Actually wrote another blog post Saturday morning, just never got around to publishing it. Oh well.

Hongzhang doesn’t know NPH is Neil Patrick Harris. Had an inclination to take a gun and shoot him.

I have commented on this before, but after reading through some of my old posts and blog hopping, I kinda have to agree that my posts have that weird “Perfect English” thing going on.

Christmas is coming! In about 5 days. Bought a ton of presents already, including my mum’s (Thank God). Every year, it always seems that my mum’s is the hardest to buy. I love you Mummy!

I love swearing on live television. It’s the combination of pure censor-heavy networks and swear-heavy people that somehow click.

Had a couple of good MW2 rounds in today. Used a shotgun for the first time ever in my Modern Warfare playing (Including COD4), and got a good killstreak out of it (SCAR-H ran out of ammo. Awesome weapon btw). Fave maps is for sure Highrise.

2R7 was a blast. But you probably already knew that. Bowled three strikes when I went bowling with Khalis, Hongzhang & Serkai, despite playing like total shit. Still, I got more strikes than any of them, so that must count for something right?

I’m interested in Avatar. Heard a ton of good things on Twitter about it, which honestly, is much harder to gain praise from than critics. The 3D tech has been talked up so much, that if I don’t see it in 3D, I think I might like have an empty feeling inside.

Rewatched Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog on Saturday. Made me start watching The Guild. It is decent. And funny. Felicia Day is awesome.

Twitter is the best thing to come onto the internet since YouTube.

Survivor finale is tomorrow, but I’m going to miss it because of work =(. Downloading as soon as I go home. Hope Russ wins for the sheer fact that if he doesn’t, he wouldn’t really be considered “The Best Survivor Of All Time”.

First Chrome Post.

Using Google Chrome now to post this. The Mac beta just came out (Finally…), and using it has been a breeze. I definitely see this as a good alternative to Safari. And yes, this over Firefox anyday. Firefox is slow compared to Safari & Chrome.

Waiting for Wanjun to come online so that I can book the chalet… So if I don’t update the chalet post soon after this post, don’t fret too much.

Went Christmas shopping today. Bought a couple of gifts on the cheap (Yay for my wallet!), but there’s a few more left, though I know what to get already.

Afterwards, went to play table tennis with Jesslyn & Wanjun. In jeans. Dumbest thing I’ve done all week. Actually, it was quite fun. Haven’t played that long for over three years, so it was a great experience.

Apple tablet. Yeah, if it actually exists, I would be interested, but will probably not get one. Of course, I have not seen the Apple sell on it, which can make anything awesome. Even the shitty iPod Shuffle.

Changed my Mac’s wallpaper. It’s really really REALLY cool. If you somehow take a peek at my Mac, check it out.

Been catching up on my homework throughout the week. E Maths is boring the snot out of me, while English… English I’m just doing way too much to piss off my next English teacher, for they didn’t specify to print the stupid thing out. 200 MB PDF files FTW!

Avatar looks very cool. Heard how well the 3D effects are handled. And Michelle Rodriguez (The actress who plays Ana-Lucia on Lost) is in the movie.

IGN’s GOTY stuff comes out Monday/Tuesday depending on what time decide to release it on in their timezone. Hoping Uncharted 2 wins GOTY for the PS3, and either Batman: Arkham Asylum or Street Fighter IV on the 360.

If by 11.10pm, Wanjun doesn’t come online, I’ll send an SMS asking her to send me the details and I’ll book tomorrow. It’s 10.56pm as of writing by the way.

My earphones got busted. Using a temporary one which sucks air from a straw. Hopefully I can dig an in-ear one out from somewhere.

The Apple Introduction videos that they have whenever a new product is released is seriously the most badass thing ever. As said before, they make anything seem awesome.

Added the 1000 song into my iTunes playlist. Intentionally made it be Nate Theme 2.0 from the Uncharted 2 Soundtrack. Seriously, it’s awesome.

Ended two paragraphs with the word awesome. Awesome!

I kinda miss Media.

Speaking of Media, hoping to God that we get a new HD camera. Been writing a script that is beyond (Beyond!) my best work. Which isn’t saying much..

Tripped On The Cord

Rewatching The Office, and it is a blast. Season 1 was hard to go through, not because it isn’t great, but because I wanted to get to Season 2 ASAP. I watched about 2/3 of The Dundies, the first ep. of S2, and it is seriously the episode that sold me on the series.

Been working the past two days. Helped entertain me greatly. The only problem? I might miss The Amazing Race’s live telecast on Monday. Fuck. The one time all season, and it’s the good season dammit. If I miss it, please, no spoilers. I will kill you.

MGS: Peace Walker is out in Japan in March. Understandable cause they are kinda trading places with Final Fantasy XIII, which will come out at the end of the month.

If I can’t book the 2R7 chalet by the end of the week, I think the best thing to do is to scrap it. It’s like putting a dying baby to sleep. You just can’t bare to do it, but it has to be done.

Haven’t plugged in my PS3 since I came from chalet. People over-rate how much I play games.

The Liverpool FC website got a facelift, though one that is more Flash-heavy (Which is beginning to bug me even more as time goes past). Seriously, lay off the Flash people. The day YouTube denounces Flash (Which will never happen unfortunately) is the day Flash dies. Unless Facebook uses it. Then we’re stuck with it for life.
